About me
I am a translator specialized in marketing, human resources, tourism and travel for the language pairs British/American English to German (Germany) as well as French (France) to German (Germany). With 14 years of professional experience in the language services industry, my work extends from individual projects, translations, and proofreading up to ISO and EN 15038:2006 certified team projects for larger orders. Since 2008, I have been working for translation agencies such as Transperfect, Global LT, OneHourTranslation, Motaword, and Language Support Centre, Denmark, as well as for corporate clients, such as eBay, Google, Amazon and Enigma Advertising, among others.
I have successfully translated texts for travel and tourism websites, e.g., about excursions and sights in Crete, hotels in Greece, and holiday rentals in France. Travel and tourism are my main fields of specialization. My diverse experience includes translating product descriptions for online shops, such as amazon.de and SEM-optimized Google AdWords text, as well as reports and features for online magazines.
I have translated sales concepts for fashion companies and U.S. organizations, and I have directed the translation of websites into German as a project manager.
